Family Size

In this section we will have a lot of research about the British families. There are lot of trends in the sizes of British families. The family sizes are very different from the past. What is family? Most of us will say that we have family! we are grow up from our family. But can you tell me what the definition of the family? Maybe you can or maybe can not. Let me tell you the definition of the family. The family are come from the word "Hunt". In the Ancient people hunt together. When they get the food, they allocate the food and help each other, they share the tools and weapons. They live together and divide into different groups. After a long time, this groups are trend into a new definition and we call it family. People have the same blood and they live under the same roof. So far, we all come from different families. There are different types of families. In Britain, Most of family are the nuclear family. There are also lot of people live in the extended family. The size of British family are very different from the past. In the past, the family are often consist of more than 8 family members. But now, the family size are reduce, it become small and small. I think there are some reasons about the family size trends. In the past, the science are still not developed and people are live in a hard situation. The farther are the bread winner in the family and the children need to work, in order to live better, they are all work hard. The family size a big and everyone need to work. But now, we live in a developed society and the society affect the family less and less. There are some data about the family size.( UK=2.63, USA=2.60, RUSSIA=3.33 , SWEDEN<3.0) In this data, you can see the family size in the world are become small and small.

Hi Zhu Han Bin - Lex

I found your definition and origins of the word family most interesting. I decided to check the 'ETYMOLOGY' of the word and this is what I found. Where did you find that the word FAMILY comes from HUNT?
